FAQ

  • "Where do I retrieve my registration summary and vouchers?"

Not here, but on the Calypso registration interface: CLICK HERE AND GET REDIRECTED TO CALYPSO.

Use your ORCID iD as your login and the pw set upon registering on Calypso.

  • "Can I register on site?"

Yes, but, please, be aware that extra fees will be charged to cover for administrative reasons.

  • "Can I submit an abstract for a contributed talk?"

No. As per tradition, talks at 16-ICQC are all invited lectures. However, you are welcome to submit an abstract for a poster.

  • "I do not have a PhD or DPhil. Can I benefit from reduced registration fees?"

Yes, but only under the strict condition that you can provide us with a valid proof of studentship (copy of your student card or signed letter by one of your supervisors). This is mandatory and acces to the congress will not be possible if your registration is not valid. You should send your proof of status to the Organizers within 15 days after registering.

  • "What is included in the registration fees?"

For a standard participant: access to the conference building and lecture theatre, eight coffee breaks, one mixer dinner (Monday evening), and two buffets during poster sessions (Tuesday and Wednesday evenings).

For an accompanying person: access to the conference building and one mixer dinner (Monday evening).

Invited speakers and IAQMS members: some options are courtesy of 16-ICQC. Please contact the Organizers in case of doubt.

  • "Can I select other options upon registering?"

Yes. The registration interface will allow you to make a selection of options: three lunches (Monday, Tuesday, and Friday noon times), one excursion (Thursday afternoon), and one gala dinner (Friday evening). Due to space restrictions, the optional lunches and excursion will be proposed on a first-come, first-served basis. The registration interface will also allow you to reserve your hotel between June 17 and 24 with special deals and booking priority. Please contact Menton Tourist Office if you want to extend your stay.

  • "I could not (did not want to) select optional lunches. Can I get food easily?"

Yes. There are many bakeries, sandwich shops, and restaurants in the surroundings of the conference venue. The lunch breaks will last for more than two hours, so you will have plenty of time to wander around and enjoy the nice weather of the French Riviera in June.
